It is absurd to liken Afghanistan's lack of state infrastructure with the situation in Iraq, which was a centralized dictatorship under Saddam Hussein. Such a dictatorship cannot be accused of lacking in state power!

Imagine destroying a country's institutions and then retroactively claiming that it never had them in the first place, in order to put a positive spin on American military adventurism and its motives

Notice how according to her, Iraq's neighbors were the only ones with the capacity to act in a "de-stabilizing" way towards it. Not America invading the country and ransacking it in the first place!
