I thought about it and the answer is simple. It's the only thing I feel. Us, humans we seek emotions. We don't do well with feeling nothing. I rather feel bad than to feel nothing. Since I can't feel good things like hapiness or satisfaction anymore (complete anhedony), I torture myself in many ways.

I have periods like this. It looks like this for me:

Not want gf and don't find suifuel content as helpful
Start wanting gf and suifuel finds me automatically
Want a gf strongly but can't get one, suifuel is a no-no
Start to realize I wont have a gf, suifuel is helpful because it makes me feel feels
