lower exchange rates are good for trade since technically what you're selling is cheaper
it's not like Argentina where it's valueless by accident, it's low on value because Japan is a major exporter country
they can not. Refer to my previous post as to why the yen is devalued. In addition, cost of living in Japan, especially in Tokyo, is super high and you'd spend what you already do in the West in rent and food and the like
