unlike temporary workers in other countries japanese temporary workers are actually temporary. its not like in canada or the US where they just overstay their visa and pop out a couple kids who are then made citizens and get to stay. in japan the government is on your ass 24/7 and if you even think about overstaying you get thrown in jail or deported and your kids cant be citizens. they are very on top of things over there
