LDAR I've never eaten British food but it looks appetizing, so I don't understand the hate

I sometimes watch british cooking videos when I eat, contrary to what a lot of people in the internet say, I do like the way british food looks.

By the looks of it, my fav are probably

Full english breakfast
Jacket potato
Bangers and mash
Also Beans on toast and pretty much every beans containing food looks pretty appetizing

The only bad food I've seen till now is probable the green gravy brits pour on their mash.

I've never eaten British food, is their food good looking but bad in taste?
