I've lost two close family members seemingly because they listened to medical professionals

I don't know if either were for definite but it's just the way it seems.

One went on a high protein diet for weight loss and it gave both people who tried it cancer (I also know someone else who died of cancer who was on high protein).

The other got the covid vaccine and then her health went downhill fast and she died.

So always use your judgement in life. If something doesn't sound like a good idea or research doesn't seem to back it up then don't do it.
