I've finally figured out the RougueLike 'NetHack'

It's Hypothetically Impossible

It's a TurnBased Dice Rolling Game.
Procedurally generated.
Lots of things can make you instantly lose.
BUT
Even if you have Counters to the instant losing things, (Poison resistance for Venom for instance) You could still just lose in combat.

I want to like rogulikes but they all seem kind of pointless, can't get any fun out of them.

Find one you like the looks of then try to find if Save Scumming for it is possible. (Being able to make multiple save states for a game that should be a one run)

I have a Laptop rather than a PC, so my machine can't handle 3D Graphics. NetHack is Free, 2D and can handle lots of Mobs on screen at once.

I recommend you play Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup instead first.
