I’ve been listening to Last night I dreamt someone loved me by the Smiths and Asleep by The Smiths for hours now

Someone help. Whenever I get stuck in a depressed trance like this I can’t stop listening for hours.

I like listening to charming man and imagining it’s about an incel who is hesitant to go socializing rather than about a gay guy.

The Smiths are one of my favourite cope bands when I feel down.

There was a user here called @FastBananaCeo who used to talk about The Smiths a lot. I couldn't see it at first, but now I really get how their songs about inadequacy can resonate with an incel. Not down with his homo stuff or reactionary nature, but he has good songs.

I’ve been listening to the Smiths since I was 15 and now I’m 47. It’s the first music I found that really resonated with me. My profile picture is the cover art for “William it Really Was Nothing” another song by The Smiths. Morrissey really knew what it was like to be shy and socially awkward when he was in The Smiths. If you want to dive deeper into their catalogue I recommend these.
Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Know
You Just Haven’t earned it Baby
Half a Person
I Know It’s Over
Well I wonder
That Joke isn’t Funny Anymore
Cemetery Gates
Bigmouth Strikes Again
The boy with the thorn in his side
