I've become too attached to my parents I think

They're the only 2 people I interact with so I guess it was inevitable.

There's nothing wrong with getting along with your parents, but I'm too attached to them, I talk to them a lot and Idk, it just feels like a 26 year old man shouldn't be this attached to his parents. Doesn't help that I still live with them.

There were tough times when I was at rock bottom and we had some vicious fights, but for the last 2 or so years it's been pretty nice. I feel it does inhibit me from going out and growing up idk. On the other hand I'm a bald fatso with various health problems that hates having friendships and that has to dodge people when walking on the street from the sheer dread of being recognized by old acquaintances, what other kind of life could I have?

In the modern world you have 0 alternatives. I think i'll rot in my parent's basement even if i'll manage to find a job. It's shit for many guys like us

I'm too attached to mine as well. It happens when you have no one else to talk to I guess. I went on holiday to get away from them recently. Holidays alone kind of suck but it's become necessary for me at this point.

my parents never speak to me unless it is a "hello" or "how are you" and they seem to think they're forced to do it. they obviously dont want anything to do with me but feel an obligation to help me.
