I used to be balding last hope is to go bald any try to grow it back and see if the hair is still thin. If it's still thin just go bald forever.

I still have hair, it's just very thin in certain places and thick in others. I cover the thin areas with my thick hair. I haven't tried minoxidil yet. Just taking dutasteride.

I'd try minoxidil but thin hair in certain places is usually a result of damage so I'd go bald it helped me.

Hair transplants aren't a fix for everyone and there are fucked up doctors out there that will still do surgery on you even though they know that the results will be short lived. For a successful transplant, you need a strong donor area, with a large amount of thick and healthy grafts with non aggressive balding on top. Men with aggressive AGA usually have miniaturization in their donor areas and their existing hair will still fall out on treatments over time.
