Kids are very honest. No enough societal brainwash to be polite necessarily.
Quick funny story: when I was like 3 to 5 years old I came up to this black woman, started tugging on her arm and asked her "can you get it off?" because I thought her skin was part of a costume. Had never seen a black person before that close up.
So yeah kids are brutally honest.
