"Living in Greece and Italy back then was an amazing experience"

Meanwhile what could I honestly tell someone in the future?
"Oh man it was crazy when I was 18, I was crushing it in league of legends"
I feel like my parents expected me to be living a life similar to guys they'd see in imported Hollywood movies. When in reality I'm inside 99% of the time and rarely talk to other people. My life is a complete blur from start to finish.
