The only thing that makes a man attractive to a woman is the idea that having him will make herself superior to other women and stand out in the local community as the "attractive couple". Today this has little to nothing to do with behavior/character/shared interests, and everything to do with factors like looks, university attainment, money, sports, and locale status.
A woman who is remotely slightly attractive will get shit on by other women for dating a nice 5’7” man that owns his own micro brewery but is otherwise a genetic beta, for example, but will easily make other women very jealous if she’s with an arrogant piece of shit 6’3” hunking jock man with stylish bones in his face and male model slicked hair. Women are status whores, status and image are all that matters to them; Women judge men based on the status they think society ascribes to the features of our appearance and the status they think they’d get for being associated with these features more than anything else. The more status a woman thinks she’ll get from being associated with a guy, the more attraction she viscerally feels in him and in herself. It’s never about love with women, it’s always about status. Women are sociopaths, exceptions don’t make the rule.
It’s literally more important for a man to look “good”/impressive than to actually be a good person/ impressive when it comes to attracting modern women.
