For example if I have financial success then I have money to show for it. If I have career success then I have something for my CV (resumé).

But... if I have social success... I have nothing to show for it 10 years later or often even 5 years later. If I keep myself in good health... I guess I kind of have something to show for that, at least until I get hit by some bad condition of some kind (you never know when that might happen).

Anyway erm... I'm rambling but I hope this makes some kind of sense. I find it very hard to achieve things when I feel like it might have all ultimately been for nothing and was very temporary.

I just wondered if anyone could relate to this one!
 
There's no point in competing in this materialistic and hedonistic hellhole.
