I think it is a big deal for most men though — for example, going off of some of the studies on the black pill science article over on incels.wiki and looking at the okcupid/tinder dating statistics, it’s clear that women are very picky and rate the vast majority of men as below average. They also won’t trade down — if you see a woman with a less attractive man then you know he’s either very high status/rich or some combo of the two. I think “most” men have to move mountains to get a gf, it’s just that it’s outright impossible pretty much for a lot of men too (barring really high status/wealth at least).
