I lurked here from early 2022 to 2023, stopped for a while, then came back in early 2024 and registered an account.

I've noticed that the forum was a lot more active, not only that, a lot more interesting, back in 2022 than it was in 2024, but even in early 2024, it felt better than it is now.

For example, after I came back from my hiatus over the summer, the forum felt a lot more dead than it was during the months when I first joined. In fact I remember a period of time where I would get 20+ notifications daily, but I can barely remember it.

Forum seems to be declining

Still in my opinion sometimes mods doesn't help with banning users and even more strict rules than in 2019 or 2018 for example

But at same there there's some truth to it, there bit less traffic than in past. It just proves that incels aren't a big minority, max 10-15 percent of population

I can’t really talk. Since I was active around 2019. Then dropped the forum and came back 2025. But the way I understood it, the forum still seems active, sure the same people aren’t around. But honestly as long as they continue having the forum up, it’s always going to have an audience. Every year was, “The forum is dead!” Talk. At least when I was around. Say what you want about IT, but in a way, they help our movement spread and keep us relevant.

I remember when i was 13 ( 2011 ) i joined real madrid forum ( polish one ), it was really fun and great many memorable users. But downhill started slowly in 2015 when iw as 17 and greatly accelerated in 2017-19 era. Daily reminder that it peak was around time of 2006-2010. Loved lurking that forum.

It closed in may of 2021, cause no money to host forum and shit traffic, people grow up and there internet simply changed and many communities couldn't adapt

Could be. Multiple people have already made this observation, and I also remember the forum being more active when I think about it, but I'm not sure whether that isn't just our minds playing tricks on us and filtering out all the non-notable memories, endless waiting for replies, and so on.

Yeah, I think that's why people think there's less activity because the userbase itself isn't as interesting. A lot of users seem to blend together. We need more forum characters tbh.

Imo there will always be a market for this forum. It might go up and down in relevance but as long as it stays up there will be activity

Yeah I agree. There's a lot of users that would still be using this place only for they got banned for something, sometimes justifiably sometimes not. But it's not all because people lost interest

They killed exclusivity and obscurity in niche communities. You don't have to abide by corporate policies in forums like these, compared to those social media giants. Reddit is perhaps the worst offender. Way too many normal fags and trolls congregating in my favorite subs.

Eventually everything dies. New generations come which dont like the format. Forums probably lasts for 10-11 years, while last few of them are kept alive by few members.

If you mean dead(er) in terms of user quality then maybe you have an argument. But as far as activity goes I recall several days here where online user count reached like 230, that is most definitely not "dead" for this forum's standards.

I guess the question I was getting at was, will this forum turn into Normie Media? Think about it, Reddit used to be a place for outcasts/losers. But it eventually evolved into normie media.

Same with 4chan, it used to be a place on the fringes, but now everyone and their mother posts on 4chan.
