It is widely stated that, "No one can show any proof for afterlife, so it must not be real." But it doesn't seem convincing enough. Is there anything observable or deducible that can be taken as an evidence against the afterlife?

Afterlife is a copiun humans made-up because or fear of death

the only proof we have consistents of "trust me bro"

Is there any proof against the existence of an Father Christmass?

Unless you're willing to somehow rule out that there may exist a one way door afterlife, the answer is definitely a no.

If someone makes a claim that something exists the burden of proof is on them.

I am well aware of that side of logic. I was wondering if there were any direct evidence against it.

I don't think there's really a way to disprove it. It's kind of like Russell's teapot.

Do you mean Jesus?

Thats not how the burden of proof works

That being said I think there is something. But i dont believe its heaven and hell or anything tied to your moral behaviour.

I know about the counter argument of burden of proof. I was wondering if any active proof was out there.

After death is new game +

Religion can not be proved or disproved. It's about Faith, believing.

If you had proof your faith won't be tested so in a sense you're free to choose to deny its existence but you're responsible if after all you burn in hell. The way i see it it's doesn't matter your life will be shit either ways but your afterlife doesn't have to.

There is proof depending on how you define an afterlife
Let's consider that existence of one's consciousness for a considerably long time after his death is what afterlife is. Heaven or Hell isn't mandatory.

My first question would be what fills the consciousness without the body? To say, what is the consciousness being conscious of?

But why? I don't see what's so terrifying about death, provided that there is no hell where you will face eternal torment.

Experiences or sensory inputs I'd say.

Alright then. Did this consciousness exist before birth? I.e. was their ever a before-life

Maybe. It's possible that we just don't remember anything from that time, just like we don't remember our lives just after we were born.

Some proofs of the after life sound like they could be convincing. Search up the cases of Pam Reynolds or of Shanti Devi (reincarnation).

Only 1 way to find out if it's real in the first place

Russel's teapot is lazy and unprecise when debating nature of reality.

Check out the cases of Shanti Devi (reincarnation) and Pam Reynolds.

The most evidence we have is NDE's and oobe's and "breakthrough trip reports." (As well as alien abduction cases) Unfortunately it's all very subjective yet on many accounts, follow a similar structure.

This combined study is called, soul trap Theory. (Matrix reincarnation soul trap.)

If this is a "created world" then "god" is a homicidal maniac. Since death and parasitism is THE NORM!

Yet, "psychic stuff" pk/tk, telepathy, remote viewing, intuition, etc... Is real. (Just not super common.) Hinting at a larger spiritual force than the natural random forces of nature. Hence the idea of God.

Simulation theory is very popular and has lots of scientific evidence. But who created and is running the Sim?

It's an impossible thing to prove. You have to experience death for yourself, and then wait and see what happens,.
