I first thought about this at the age of 12, when I read E.T.A. Hoffman's book "
Little Zaches called Cinnabar" Her whole plot revolved around the fact that Baby Tsakhes is an ugly child, the son of a poor peasant woman with an ugly face and short stature, but the fairy took pity on him and gave him a gift so that everyone else sees him as handsome.

Yes, but when you're 11-12 years old, everything around you screams the opposite: that it's not your appearance that matters, but your character, that if you're a kind person, it doesn't matter what you look like. The whole surrounding culture screams about it, every fairy tale, every story where some beauty falls in love with a monster and lays it out and it turns out to be a handsome prince, and the fact that they were loved when they were ugly monsters should prove that character is important, not appearance.

I haven't seen this movie since it came out on video, but I remember it being such an extraordinarily bluepilled movie, that it became blackpilling, in a retardedly funny way.

Jack Black has some magic done to him that makes fat women look beautiful if they have a beautiful soul, and the reverse is true also, all the beautiful women are ugly to him because they're all "ugly on the inside". But the fat woman he dates still has all the symptoms of being a landwhale, like she break chairs when she sits on them.
