Can your mother language influence your IQ? after all, language influences the way you structure your thoughts. There might be languages that allow its speaker to structure his thoughts in a more efficient way.

English language not only lowers iq, but also raises degeneracy, it is language of sjws. And for me is not comfortable to use

theres a correlation between race and iq
side note maybe i should learn a new language

I think this is something like it. The language you speak influences the way you think.

I heard that certain African languages don't have words for weeks or months so they live only in the present. Because of that, they aren't able to plan for the future, the concept is utterly foreign for them.

Its the language of conquest. Its why nobody speaks Gaelic in Scotland. India, Nigeria, kenya etc all use it as a primary language as well as their native languages. America has sealed English status as number 1 language helped by the film and music industry.

Nobody speaks Russian cause its a backwater slav language. Just kidden, I'd like to be able to speak another language but like most English speaking nations we're too lazy/don't have a decent setup to incentives learning another language. It would be good tho. Alba gu bràth!

Op is retarded

I don’t think there is a correlation tbh

In the States, we're not given any reason to bother learning it, we get a halfassed attempt at learning french or spanish from what I remember.

Our school system is trash. They don't want people to ascend, they want everyone to be 9to5 slaves..

You have to get lucky and be born into a family that doesn't have English as their primary language to be 100% bilingual.

I believe it can, I have that option to bail on the U.S. whenever I find myself ready to leave this shithole country and it's bullshit.

Aye here it was french or german. I got made to dae French for four fucking years. On the day of my standard grade I slept in and missed the written exam. I can remember the shit you learn in day one an thats it. Massive waste of time.

it's not linear like English = low IQ, Russian = high IQ, but the language certainly influences your subconsciousness

It's the same thing in Canada and probably every Anglophone country. The only difference is that we didn't have a choice between German, Spanish, and French, we only got French.

beagán Gaeilge na halban agat?

I don't think this affects IQ in any way. Ofc that is until someone comes up with solid evidence.

In Texas, I didn't have the option to learn german. I'm guessing french is like #2 since it seems to be everywhere. I figure we got Spanish as an option becuase Texas is right next to Beantown.

Of course it can. The less you know, the less options you have.

Their effort to teach it makes it a massive waste of time.

Why do they teach Spanish in the US? All business transactions are carried out in English, aren't they?

I don't actually know any Gaelic. It was never an option at school. Which is a shame as it would be good if a majority of the population could speak it. To be like our Celtic cousins the Irish and Welsh and have our own sort of secret language. I think to learn a different language I'd need to live in that country an then have the chance of talking and hearing it every day.

Well it makes sense here in Texas. Alot of spics from Mexico walking around. 90% of the construction jobsites are filled with mexicans that dont speak english. The state sort of attempts to bridge that communication gap.

Yes, there are. Introducing Lojban.

"Lojban (pronounced like "lozh-bahn"; IPA [ˈloʒban]) is a multipurpose constructed language based around formal/symbolic logic to completely remove ambiguity in syntax.
Initially designed in an effort led by Dr. James Cooke Brown as Loglan (logical language), it was thought up to test the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, which basically says that the language that a person speaks determines the way the person thinks. The idea was to attempt to create a language so different from natural languages that its speakers would have to think differently. Think Newspeak, only without the dystopian nightmare to go with it.
Loglan further developed into Lojban, an improved version of it, which has now a significant internet community. The most prominent and unique feature of the Loglan family of languages is that they are designed to have the most unambiguous possible syntax. Additionally, the grammar is based on predicate logic."
