Is the Steam Deck the ultimate gaming machine?

You can play all these steam games for a decent price, catch steam sales all the time where everything is dirt cheap, and ive heard you can even emulate old games from ps2 and such for free

all true but imo a gaming laptop is much better. steam deck has other unaccounted for expenses like a dock (doesn't come with it just lol) and an SD card (all expensive AF). it's also linux so modding is harder.

The successor to a PSP i would say.
