Is the amount of intense laughter I’ve done for years why I’ve never really felt “depressed” in the traditional sense?

I do have suicidal thoughts, but I don’t cry a lot and when I do it’s a little bit of tears and for a very short amount of time. Could the intense laughing for years to the point of crying tears of laughter almost everyday have an effect since laughing releases dopamine and helps the heart? It’s just because dumb things keep making me laugh all the time.

I wish I could laugh the way I used to. Me and this nonNT kid used to be great friends in middle school and we would make each other die of laughter by making retarded faces and using kindergarten level toilet humor. The fact that we found those things funny while the NT kids were starting to make sex jokes just goes to show how behind I was socially.

Brutal. I remember me and my friend from high-school would do retarded shit a lot lol.

Like we grabbed a stapler and stapled our arms to see if it would hurt or not lol (it didn't hurt at all surprisingly)
