I don't think it had been going on that long when I finished highschool in 2004 we had a prom although me and a bunch of guys who were rejects didn't go. A guy I was friends with wanted to actually burn down the venue the school had hired but I talked him out of it and we chilled at his place that night, drank some beers and played Halo 2.
It is one of these annoying burger exports. I know they were having them around the same time in Australia - they called them a "formal" or something. We have also imported trick and treating on Halloween over the last 20 years. Fucking burgers.

Retarded shit tbh. We have stupid farewells which I never went to tbh. I remember my last days of high school. I just deleted every contact and exited from every WhatsApp group I was part of. Fuck them tbh. It's abeen roughly 3 years since I've talked to a person outside of my family(mom and dad). Sometimes I really regret not keeping in touch with them especially at late nights when I'm wallowing in self pity and I get extremely depressed but there's nothing I can do now.
I honestly don't think I can ever make friends because of my Aspergers. I just have to learn to embrace true forced loneliness but it's getting harder day by day. The only thing that gives me pleasure right now is just small accomplishments like studying for a few hours or a good workout. I got invited to prom but I didn't go as it would've just been as friends and I would've been left behind like usual.
