Also once you believe in Jesus as your Savior, God's Holy Spirit enters you, and at that point you are forgiven of all past and future sins as long as you cling to the faith, but you are trying not to sin. You will still fall to temptations occasionally because you still have human nature, but you aren't sinning freely anymore. The life of a Christian is gradually becoming more mature and trying to be less sinful. I'm a believer but I still have a lot of maturing and growing to do myself.
