I gues that not caring about anything is doable but very very hard and you would need to be super good at meditation or sheit like that so you can just let your thoughts go away.

because to not care about anything would likely require a conscious effort to disregard everything (even sensory inputs)...
But that gives rise to a contradiction, because you would then 'care' to make that deliberate effort to disregard said inputs.
