Yeah people are pricks, I once had to carry a fuck ton of groceries in the boiling heat and I just couldn’t walk any longer, so I was stranded in the middle of the street but luckily there was a fire station. I figured I could just ask one of them for their phone to call a taxi and then get a drink of water. Luckily the older chief let me, but at first one of the young chad firefighters was washing the windows and I walked up to the window trying to get his attention and he didn’t even look at me even though I was a foot away from his face behind the glass. That fucking prick was willing to let me get a heat stroke when they’re apparently supposed to be first responders. Luckily the older man was kinder to me, but I will never forget just how cold the chad was
