Look at it this way.
You always hear of those missing persons stories where someone's been gone for days and the family is looking for them. And in the end when they find the body it's always, "It's not the results or outcome we wanted, but at least we have closure on the situation."
You can say that's cope or they're just lying to the media, but I don't think that's the case and believe they're glad it's over.
Imagine you had $1000 in your pocket that you knew you had before leaving your house and then you got back home and realized the money's missing. Especially if you're poor, you would be really worried on where that money went. One of two things will happen. You will either realized where it went, take a guess where it went, or give up on finding it and moving on.
Maybe you went to 10 stores and you spend $100 in each one and didn't realize it added up. Maybe you realized when you put your hand in your pocket while you were getting on the train that the money might've slipped out of your pocket and now gone. Now put that within the same category as pregnancy and Russian Roulette. Both is a game of chance and while one is the chance of making life, the other is a chance of taking a life.

He will always have that worry in the back of his head. Always. Until he's dead or he gives up playing, he will never finally be happy.

Just how the one that keeps playing Russian Roulette but worried on dying, I think it's a good thing to wish he would just die so his soul will be at ease and not always worrying when he can't quit playing the game. Likewise wishing pregnancy on the foid that can't stop having sex will be a good thing as while it's not permanent as death, at least it means no more worry because you can't have sex anymore.
