I am his first child.

My dad often had to be reminded by my mum whenever it was my birthday.

When filling out forms, he would ask me for my date of birth.

He has a general idea of my age but never exactly knew how old I ever was.

He has no mental issues or valid excuses for this.

How would you feel if your dad were like this? Would you find it sad, careless, or think it doesn’t really matter?
