For those who don't know, Catholic priests are required to remain unmarried (and therefore celibate) for their entire lives.
It wouldn't solve the intimacy problem, but it would de-stigmatize male virginity, and it would hopefully make our peers and family stop judging us for never having a girlfriend. Just imagine telling someone:
"I'm a 50-year-old virgin."
"Wow, you're such a loser."
"I forgot to mention that I'm a priest."
"Oh, well that makes sense then. God bless you!"
Legit celibacy (not MGTOW) might be our best friend.
