Serious Is Alek Minassian real or not?

I'm confused now, it seems some Incels here are saying that Alek's facebook post was faked, yet some are saying it's real.

Another point I would like to bring up is that both Nikolas Cruz/Elliot Rodger gets way more attention in the news compared to Alek minassian as well. There's been almost no other news coverage about Minassian after a few weeks. What happened?

I think whether or not Alek was an incel is not exactly important, given that he didn't leave behind any legacy like ER.

What Alek did was bring the issues of inceldom to the mainstream, intentional or not.

Weird thing is I've never heard of anyone refering to 4chan as sergeant4chan or whatever until after the attack but now I'm seeing shit like lieutenant cho and colonel ER. I very well think that this was Canadas CIA that made up a post and fucked up the meme's because some a-hole chad that doesn't take his meme identification job seriously screwed it up. Was there a sergeant4chan in that facebook group? Never even heard that shit mentioned in /r9k/, /b/, or /pol/ until after the attack.
