not sure if anyone is familiar with Mike Crumplar, but he is a writer who studies Elliot Rodger texts. he is actually pretty funny and sometimes insightful
he talked about this forum specifically in the interview
"Many of the incels’ insights are not actually that wrong in and of themselves. It is that they are pieced together in such a way that it always turns out wrong in the big picture. They often make fascinating, brilliant, truly literary insights into everyday life, insights that cut beyond the chatter of “normie” liberal bourgeois ideology. They catalogue the ways that people are always lying to themselves, that social norms are elaborate alienating systems of deceptions, and so on."
thoughts...? I disagreed with some of it, as I actually would like to have a non-roastie GF, but i thought it was overall pretty good.
