not sure if anyone is familiar with Mike Crumplar, but he is a writer who studies Elliot Rodger texts. he is actually pretty funny and sometimes insightful

he talked about this forum specifically in the interview

thoughts...? I disagreed with some of it, as I actually would like to have a non-roastie GF, but i thought it was overall pretty good.

The interview is NOT GOOD. It is fancy words and ideological nonsense to cover up and remove the blame from women. Like this part:

Never, ever, will "hegemonic femininity" will be used, women will never be held accountable. Has it ever occurred to him that for this toxic, masculine hegemony to hold, it has to be supported by an equally evil femininity? He sees something in this blackpill, it contradicts his already held conception, but he tries to fit it in his conception and tries to rationalize it. This guys sounds like a Marxist, I like Marxism, it holds valuable observations about history and society, I am/was a Marxist, but he is just abusing it. He is just using it as ideological nonsense to distract from the real fact that women and feminism is a female strategy of self-interest that will release the true barbarism of the male elite, and the women will be right behind them.

Shameful. I already knew before clicking to read the article what it was going to be like. Enough of this bullshit, this pernicious argument has already made its way around many times. It's time to stomp it out like the obscurantism that it is. There is a toxic femininity, and it is evil, and it supports the barbarism of the toxic masculine as a proxy for violence against other men, to divide men.

He is a Marxist. And I agree with you on toxic femininity. The problem is that toxic feminity has so thoroughly taken over mainstream culture that if he made that argument...idk. It would be dead in the water to anyone not blackpilled. It fucking sucks. He goes far but yeh, not far enough.

well he's at least less condescending than IT. doesn't seem like a bad person but I doubt he could actually fully relate to our personal lives. it is nice that he at least acknowledges the truth that most people are superficial and judgemental, instead of trying to blue pill

There are a lot of good things in the article, like debunking the myth that incels are "angry white men". Overall though we need to be careful about praising stuff like this, this very subtle obscuring of the facts like in the part I quoted is not on our side. Very pernicious indeed. And, considering he's a Marxist, let's think about how the history of Marxism has much more attacking of supposed friends than open enemies (more in rhetoric than actual combat of course)... i.e. Lenin and Kautsky. Because people who pretend to be your friends really are the most dangerous ones.
