I think in broad strokes that there are really only two different types of trauma and I think that each type is more represented between men and women respectively.
The first type of trauma is what I believe what most people think of as trauma and that is inductive trauma. This is when something horrible happens to you. It could be something like getting into a car crash that you survive to getting deployed into a war zone to even sexual assault. These events are what cause you to get depressed and developmental illnesses that will last you your entire life.
The other type of trauma is what I like to call reductive trauma. This is when you are lacking. Sam crucial personal growth milestone and you suffer from it. The best example and most poignant example is literally all of us. Being an incel is for doctor trauma since we lack both the physical intimacy and emotional connection from women that is a vital part of growing and maturing as a person. Other reductive trauma examples are lack of familiar. Being underappreciated at work or at school, and general on recognition from your society.
Now when it comes to dividing these into which gender they are represented the most in, I would easily say that women go through inductive trauma more and men go through reductive trauma more. Women naturally attract attention. + Just people in general around them since they are the machines of society. Without them we cannot reproduce. So on a natural level more bad things are going to occur to them simply because they are attractors in general. Men on the other hand are disposable and because of that there is less attention put on them by society leading into lack of care and compassion that they receive.
This was a very spur of the moment idea and I'd love to see what you guys think of this. I'm not some psychiatrist so don't expect me to give out studies or anything but this is just some top of the head type shit.
