individualism is treated as a religion. if you advise foids to be assigned to their looksmatch, you will get screeched by athiests with "woMen aRe noT EnTiTleD tO DAte you". if you advocate for the rich to redistribute their wealth to their community, they will screech "tHeYrE Not enTiTled to hElp you." everyone being allowed to do whatever they want is a value that athiests are afraid of infringing, even if it damages the community

Individualism is the core antitheses of religion.

The core message of religion is, "God is the master of the world. And every man must submit himself to the will and command of God." Where core message of individualism is, "Man is self sufficient and he is not bound to anything greater than him." In fact that's the literal definition of human renaissance era thinkers came up with.

No wonder atheists will treat individualism as their religious belief.
