100k prize for this tourney, Each of these guys had sponsors to they played for and got dropped by them.

If you win the tourney you get famous online and then if you start a twitch channel you get money off that to so it all ties in.

Ghost Aydan in Fortnite was kinda unknown, had like 50 viewers in his room then people saw him in Fortnite tourney playing a Ps4 controller against PC players and doing good and now he has 3000-4000 regularly in his twitch channel and he gets donations from random people and sub $ from them each month.

I only trust pros on console or ones using a controller, too many cheats available on PC with aimbots.

Consoles you can't cheat without first modding it which requires opening it usually or modifying which is timely and most cheaters can't do that during a live tourney.

This Indian guy copied over files and ran them on the tourney computer to cheat.

They should make all future gamer tourneys on Consoles and have PC gamers play with keyboard/mouse on the console (Fortnite supports it).

The problem is that there is a lot of ways to cheat especially in CS:GO. Not sure how much into the scene you are, but one of the strongest teams (brazilians) ran the scene for a while after coming up from nowhere. To no suprise, there was lots of cheating evidence, from info cheats to aim hacks. For sure it can't be prooven 100%, but who would trust fucking humans, a greedy species that does everything for money especially when they are poor brazilians lmao.

I disagree about the console part though, consoles are weak, just make the anti cheat better. (No personal gear would be a great start).

If the same game exists on console they should play tourneys on it and have PC gamers use mouse and keyboard for it so its almost guaranteed no aimbot or cheats.

I don't think they can make anti-cheat better, there's so many cheats existing for all the games. PUBG, Fortnite, blackout all have aimbots and programs that let you see where everyone on the map is.
