Although Pakistan has still a lot of things to deal with, including the terrorist threat that is expanding from the Afghan border region. A full blown war with India would not only hurt them but it'd also allow terrorism to flourish in most provinces of the country and potentially lead to a total security collapse akin to the one that experienced Iraq and its federal army back in 2014.

A ceasefire treaty had to be done sooner or later as both countries realize the threat of terror1sm, more specifically the threat posed not only by TTP and the Baloch Resistance Front but also 1S!s outfits in both regions, the same organization which is waiting for the right conditions to not only grow in strength but also expand its reach and influence (they want to take over the world for its cal1phate agenda). These countries already know what's in play.
