Prison in Germany is not intimidating at all. You just get to live in a cozy room with furniture, you can go to school and get your education in prison. Depending on the crime you committed you may even be surrounded by friendly harmless people that are in prison because of tax evasion or drug dealing.
As long as you can chill in your room most of the time, life in prison should be fine. Most of us are chilling in our room all day long anyways, if we have the opportunity of course. It's not like prison in Mexico where 150 gang members are forced to hang out in the courtyard because there's not enough space for all these inmates. You'd be forced to act alpha to not get raped. Life in such prisons would be hell.
