My stupid ass boomer parents took me to two concerts when I was younger. One was a folkore and the other was to commemorate Latin American music. Needless to say, they were both painful as fuck, physically and mentally.

I've never understood why people go to concerts. If I went I'd just be standing perfectly still until it's over. I feel no joy listening to music and I certainly experience no emotion or excitement that makes others dance I guess.

Concerts are fucking stupid especially nowadays. You pay to get tinnitus and to hear worse versions of a song you like. Live action performances nowadays sound nothing like the studio recording cause of all the auto tuning and special effects. I actually cringe when watching live action concert videos on youtube cause the performers always sound fucking awful. So much panting, awkward tones and forced enthusiasm on the crowd. Usually 70-90s rockbands were the last groups that sounded nearly the same live action and through cassettes.

I hate crowds and noise already, a concert would be Hell.
Too much anxiety to do anything social, my brother offered to taking me clubbing but I couldn't because I was too afraid.
