I bought an expensive "gaming laptop" last month,I used my old shitty hp laptop before i got that shit,I spent 21 K MXN,First time i open task manager in my "gaming laptop" i got 100% cpu and ram,I tried to play gta v,It was supposed to run smooth after disabling windows bloatware and shit,But no...Same shit...I open task manager and 100% cpu/ram for a few seconds after returning to normal.WTF did i threw my money away? Fuck mexico,I didnt bought a new pc just to mine bitcoins for some fucker.

Anyone experienced the same?

Gaming laptops are overpriced pieces of shit.

I got one and it overheats, it isn't very powerful and there's one stuck pixel on the display that's always red. I just use desktop now with an R5 3600 and RX 580 8gb

also unfortunately for you, this is the worst time in history to build a new pc due to the gpu chip shortage.

I managed to get a rtx 3080 but had to pay a scalper for it.

Mine is usually around 90% or higher. For some reason it's rather low right now.

Usually while in game and chrome open, would get it near 95%. I have a game open right now and Chrome and it's under 70%. Very odd.

Imo this is one of the reasons desktops aren't going away. Laptops are more portable but they don't stack up as well against desktop computers.

i had to use a gaming laptop for like a year and a half, don't understand how people can use those for extensive periods of time. i tried to format it but it was restricted (?) and now it runs like ass. after awhile it's impossible to play any games without having to blow out dust from it every few days.

Thinkpads are the only good laptops, and they aren't really for gaming.
