As I get older I've noticed this more.

I rather quit or give up than put myself in anymore difficult situations.

I just don't have the heart or energy to fight anymore now. I always will prefer the path that gives me the least trouble.

If it wasn't for money issues, I would have quit my job long ago to live the comfy neet life. I would be a lot happier that way.

Same tbh. We have experienced so many failures that we can quickly identify when something is going to fail, and then we avoid putting in more effort knowing the outcome. It is a form of pattern recognition, cutting losses to save time and effort.

When I do something right I'm never thanked. They just expect me to do even more next time.

When I do something wrong, they will chew me the fuck out.

That's why I don't want fight anymore. It's a lose-lose situation for me.

I used to constantly give quitters a lot of shit for quitting.

But that was coz I was bluepilled and also still wanted to believe there was hope no matter how bad things get.

Hope is bullshit the guys dangle in front of slaves to keep them working. Chances are those guys on top struggled far less. In fact a lot of them already seemed fast tracked for success at an early age
