I ran cross country and track in high school, the former is a pretty incellish sport to begin with. The latter on the other hand is not but that’s a discussion for another day.

however both had the same pool of people doing it. Most were not getting laid but they were still normies who had fun doing stuff with their friends

the females on the team all had boyfriends while the guys all had each other. Both had good memories to make.

meanwhile looking back on it, I never had a single moment of fun there at all. It was always the same misery jfl. Even when they invited me to hang out I was usually roaming around by myself and it was just torture to constantly be alone.

Can confirm, I did both sports. later on I did wrestling which was the only fun time I had in high school but it was short lived because covid hit and then I had to graduate online

Yeah, I pretty much dropped out of all extracurriculars by the time I got to high school. Didn't see the point in any of it.
