You can go do a test on this site if you're curious.
I think it's one of the more reliable ones that are available for free.
While there is a positive correlation between IQ and income on average it certainly doesn't apply to everyone and there are other way more useful traits than "the ability to solve complicated problems" for your career. Things like high bias for action, self-discipline, good mental health, energy, perserverance are the things that you actually need for success more than anything.
And most of these are influenced by your T levels, so look into that.
I'll just say that the average CEO of a big company has an IQ of 110 which is located in the grey area.
Noone will hire you as a professional IQ test solver. And that thing can also be learned-your score may improve simply because you took many IQ tests before. That's why it's not a set in stone number that with 100% certainty tells you how intelligent a person is.
Yes, there are certain institutions and companies that will require you to take IQ tests in the process of applying for the job. If you need an above average score you can always try "frauding" it by IQ-test maxing like I mentioned above.
So while careermaxing there are many traits that are way more important than being intelligent and those traits are largely controlled by your hormones which can be altered by changing your thought patterns, lifestyle and as the last resort using the "inject theory"
tl;dr
It does matter but you're probably coping with "muh low iq" to justify your shitty results with that never began mentality
P.S. I would link some studies but I'm too tired atm
Good night
