Not exactly, even in vidya there are underpowered and overpowered characters. And in some games people can cheat by buying better weapons and gear using IRL money. But generally speaking i think you are right.

But i like games the most that doesn't explain me anything so Dota 2, LoL, Warframe, Enlisted, WT, Stalker series, countless mmorpgs, Deus Ex 1, Dungeon Siege, Dark souls 1. I like to overcome those challenges, experience and tame chaos of different mechanics and outsmart the system.
