ngl daydreaming is one of the best copes, mainly when the dream involves Attack On Titan (my favorite anime)

i just put a attack on titan ost to listen and i start to imagine some situations and how could they be different

also giving some ideas to games i could develop or shit

it's one of the best forms of escapism imo, only losing to videogames

sometimes i daydream about girls too but these times are rarer

Now all I think about is consooming products. I have a job and no gf/wife to spend it on so I constantly find things to spend my money on. I guess I daydream about what I can buy next. I absolutely love my copes. When you get older and employed you will enjoy your copes more and not care so much about being an incel.

I think its called Maladaptive daydreaming. I used to daydream A LOT when i was in school. I used to daydream about video games. If I;m sitting in a classroom, i would daydream about me being 2 inches tall, jumping from table to table, to get to the teachers desk which is where the miniboss/level boss is located. Each classroom that I had for the day had a miniboss that I fight before the bell rings. The Lunch level boss where the easiest. I used to get cussed out by the teacher and eventually written up for "not following directions" for daydreaming, that devastated me so much as a kid that I started to control my habits out of fear of being yelled at. My daydreaming habits were pretty intense from 3rd-5th grade. I wouldnt be daydreaming so hard if the teacher/work wasnt so boring.

True. This is a double-edged sword.
A fantasy only works as a good cope if you can immerse yourself in it to such an extent that you hardly even realize how far it is from actual reality.
But if you achieve this, you basically become clinically insane.
