When you have a bad maxilla and underdeveloped vocal chords your voice barely resonates. Everyone learns in and asks you to speak up.
hate when fuckers do thisasks you to speak up.
Its seriously overfuck that's the reason? kms
nah it's not a thing"underdeveloped vocal chords" is that a thing?
i have autism so i almost never talked IRL and now my voice is really shit
can not talking ever fuck up your voice ?
It's a thing there's a reason why michael cera sounds like michael cera and jon hamm sounds like jon hammnah it's not a thing
it's just that we talk more quietly than normieshits
True. All singers have good face development. It's a thing there's a reason why michael cera sounds like michael cera and jon hamm sounds like jon hamm
It's not "talking quietly" or anything they can control. In a crowded area chad's deep voice cuts and resonates, incel's voice barely murmurs and drowns in the noise.
hate when fuckers do this
Idk man lolTrue. All singers have good face development.
Fuck, this thread and you might be on to something.True. All singers have good face development.
Op this explains a lot. Even when I spoke up without yelling like I'm angry, my voice is still none existent and people always had trouble hearing me and I feel like I always have to clear my throat (I don't though because it's supposedly bad for you).Opera singer in training here, I got bimaxillary advancement about 8 months ago. Best decision I ever made for my voice. Not sure what you are getting done, but my jaw and tongue were obstructing my airway, and my maxilla position created a smaller than normal resonating space below my palate. By expanding both of these, my air intake and air flow during phonation improved dramatically, and I finally got the volume and resonance I had always wanted. I have practically no neck, jaw, or tongue tension now. Even my vibrato rate evened out and now sounds and feels more natural.
Keep in mind that recovery from double jaw surgery is quite a long and sometimes difficult process. My voice took roughly 4 months to fully recover to where I could sing full out. Looking back on it, I would absolutely do it again as it changed my voice for the better. Feel free to PM me any questions you have about the surgery, recovery, or its impact on the voice. Good luck!

sometimes i feel like i’m talking with marbles in my mouth. Do asperger traits make us speak differently or have a different accent?
