My only motivation to work is drugs and hedonistic past times, but it's very hard to motivate myself to go to a factory for 8.5 hours a day. It's not only in movies and TV shows but in real life and it is one of the most baffling things ever. It's like they're video game characters and spawn here with them. I'm assuming you live with a parent or parents and they take care of all the necessities like mine do but I'm not given money to spend on things I want wtf. I'm 25 and I've had mostly temporary jobs here and there since I was 19 or 20. I got fired or quit most of them after a short time because I'm not cut out for most wage slavery but that's how I made the little money I had to buy what I wanted usually. My mom extorts $75 from me each week I got paid to "help with bills". I literally only have $59 and some change to my name in my bank account rn and I'm back to searching for another wage slave job which are nearly impossible to get any responses from jfl

I’m not facing homelessness rn but I definitely will be eventually if I don’t get and keep a job. Where do you live and where do you search for jobs? I’ve been using indeed for years because it’s the easiest site to use to apply to jobs that I know of but most of the jobs I‘m not qualified for, I don’t get a response from, or are shit, some of which I still apply to but usually don‘t get responses from either
