I'd rather sleep than anything else. More than hanging out with people, more than watching tv, more than listening to music, and more than playing vidya.
I work 3rd shift at my job (janitorcel) and have to clock in at 12 am and clock out at 8 am. Then I get home and go to sleep at 9 am until 9 pm. So I sleep 12 hours every day - sometimes longer.
The weekends are really the only time I go out and do stuff.
The problem is every time I do something whether it be hanging out with the few friends I have, or going out to eat or to the movies with my family, I don't really find joy in doing that stuff because all I can think about is going back home and sleeping in my bed.
I think having depression is like a "fight or flight" response. Some people might try to "fight" their depression by working out, meditating, starting a hobby, etc. But I take the "flight" route by sleeping a lot. Because you can't be depressed when you're asleep!
(Btw this is my first post, greetings everyone!)
