It's the opposite for me, I was severely gaslighted and punished for saying anything negative, so growing up I just kept my mouth shut. Now I don't care anymore, I say what I want, it feels good to not have to fake being normal just so normies are comfortable. If anything I enjoy their discomfort, maybe it will make them treat uglier ppl better in the future.
