An ironic thread with this exact same title was recently posted onto Offtopic, but I argue that this is profoundly, metaphorically true.

For sex in our modern era is analogues to mere defecation, an act of excretion and destruction rather than procreation and development, and if you are not able to satisfy your sexual urges as such, then it follows that you are constipated.

And much as it is recommended to eat bananas for constipation, bananas also have the utility of a dildo, as represented by the Amazing Atheist sticking one up his anus in private, while in public promoting liberal ideals which lead to social alienation, inceldom, and homosexuality as a method of coping with these.
