It’s probably because women are so divorced from the concept of not having easy access to a relationship ship that they assume that incels are somehow “choosing” to not enter relationships with women because they’re misogynistic. Kind of like WGTOW or Radical Feminism for women.

Sure; many Incels probably do have political beliefs that revolve around tackling the social condition of inceldom. Although imo, most of these are fiercely infeasible and/or revolve around nebulous grievances. Regardless this emergent political ideology (political-inceldom) will continue to grow as general sexlessness due to female hyperselectiveness and it’s consequences continues to become an issue. Some of these consequences are the collapsing birthrate, rising divorce rates, growing hypergamy, and less men in relationships. America’s sex-life appears to be Japanifying and our government Brazilifying. Ideally it would be the opposite.

But actual inceldom isn’t a political position. There’s some people who seem to think it is because they don’t understand it (like that “spiritual incel”, you all know who I am talking about). Fundamentally, inceldom is the state of being unable to enter romantic relationships.

Correct. Many women (and some men too) literally can't understand how incels could even exist, so they try to rationalize things this way.
