In GTA IV you have to be very retarded to choose money over revenge

At one point of the story one of the antagonists of the game says he wants to meet, that he has a deal to end all hostility. You can choose if you take the money or if you want revenge and taking him out for good.

Money: You get 250K which is pretty useless because you can't buy properties or cars in this game, just guns, body armor, clothes and burgers. Your cousin thinks you did the right thing but your gf is disappointed and and breaks up with you. Then at your cousin's wedding you get betrayed by the guy you just made a deal with, your cousin dies and you lose his super useful ability of free taxi rides. Then you kill the traitor but you have no cousin and no gf.

Revenge: You don't get the 250K but you kill Dimitri the annoying cunt that's been trying to kill for most of the game. Your cousin is disappointed that you choose violence but since he's family he forgives you. Your gf doesn't seem to care. Then at the wedding another mafia guy shows up angry because you killed his associate and kills your gf (trying to kill you). Then in the final mission you kill that mafia guy so everything is well settled. Your gf is dead but I never liked her anyway.

GTA IV is my second favorite GTA after San Andreas. It has less vehicles, guns and activities than its predecessor but I love the map of Liberty City and the physics engine is one of the best I've seen in a videogame, so funny how the NPCs move like ragdolls when you shoot at them or run them over with a car kek. Also the story is really good so it compensates that the missions are a bit repetitive.

Most of GTA IV hate was in late 2000s and early 2010s when many nostalfags compared it to San Andreas all the time. They disliked that the game had no airplanes, fewer guns (this problem was solved with the expansions btw), the less varied map and that the story missions were more repetitive and less crazy than San Andreas missions. But nowadays I'd say the majority of GTA fandom thinks GTA IV is one of the best of the saga, they've learned to appreciate it. Also regarding physics and details it's more realistic than GTA V which was released 5 years later, that's crazy.

Unfortunately I chose the end of the money in GTA IV because I thought the death of Niko's cousin Roman was more impactful, dramatic, but today I realized it was the wrong end, I wanted to choose the end of revenge, but I don't have a gamer computer and I don't know when I will get one again.
