I wish i had done biomedical engineering or some shit dealing with body mods and prosthetics back in uni. I have been obsessed with the topic of transhumanism for several years now, it would satiate my thirst and give me purpose. Either that or a plastics surgeon.

Aw, yeah uni wasn't too different to that for me either. I really think that that super sociable and fun uni life that people imagine is only really enjoyed by... certainly less than half of the students there, maybe less then 30%.
Uni isn't too easy, socially. Often you're a long way away from your old friends network and family, you're in an area you don't know, living possibly quite alone (most dorms at the local uni here typically only have tiny kitchens so really nowhere to interact with your dormmates), etc.
Really it's not THAT different to working life where you meet a lot of people at your workplace and live somewhere much quieter like alone or with a flatmate or two.
If you want that wild, fun uni life... I think you have to be very outgoing and really go out there and make it happen. Uni bars are probably the best place to start

My computer doesn't need any upgrades (maybe extra RAM, it has 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GTX 1050Ti, i5 7500 processor), and I REALLY like my late 90s speakers and keyboard though, and gaming gear is pricey asf nowadays.
